BEIRUT—The Lebanon Families Fund announced Wednesday it has updated its website to accept international donations, broadening its ability to aid families affected by the ongoing conflict in Lebanon.
The organization's website, LebanonFamiliesFund.com, now uses DonorBox (and Ko-fi) to process global contributions securely and efficiently.
This expansion comes as the need for support grows amid the conflict. The fund provides free psychological counseling for war-affected individuals and distributes basic food packages to displaced families.
"We are incredibly grateful for the international community's willingness to support our mission," the fund's lead spokesperson said. "This update allows us to strengthen our services and reach more families who desperately need assistance."
The Lebanon Families Fund offers mental health and nutritional support to ensure community well-being and resilience. By enabling international contributions, the organization aims to extend its support to more families in crisis.
The conflict, which continued/escalated on October 8, 2023, has displaced potentially thousands of families, according to reliefweb (source).
